The RECOIL Team proudly hosted our first in-person Board of Advisors (BOA) meeting! It was a fantastic opportunity to gather, collaborate, and share our latest progress and future plans.
We extend a special thank you to Cash Murphy for making the long drive from Memphis to Knoxville to join us in person — your commitment and energy mean a lot to the team! We are also deeply grateful to Dr. Maha Krishnamurthy and Dr. Mingzhou Jin for their unwavering support and invaluable guidance throughout our project journey.
A highlight of the day was welcoming Grant Powell, Founding Engineer of Cotera, who flew in from New York City to visit our Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) Department. Grant shared his insightful perspectives on T2M (Technology-to-Market) strategies, sparking engaging discussions on how to better translate our innovations into real-world impact.
