On October 7th, 2025, the RECOIL project convened its Board of Advisors (BOA) meeting, featuring a poster competition showcasing the latest research progress across the consortium.
During the session, teams presented posters covering topics such as network resilience, integrated energy systems, simulation-driven logistics optimization, EV charging demand prediction, and shared autonomous vehicle strategies. Attendees included project leadership, BOA members, and researchers from UTK, ORNL, and WVU.
Each presenter had two minutes to present and three minutes for Q&A, making the session engaging and fast-paced. The poster competition fostered lively discussions and demonstrated the breadth of interdisciplinary research supporting the RECOIL vision of a cognitive freight transportation digital twin—advancing intermodal resiliency and emissions control.
